Leading national engineering specialist, SES Engineering Services (SES) has announced today its support for one of Yorkshire’s most prestigious charity events.
The Firecracker Ball, which raises considerable funds for Barnardo’s causes across Yorkshire, will take place at Rudding Park Hotel on Saturday, 9 November 2019.
A ‘Four Seasons’ themed backdrop is to play host to the celebrations and will see pop-rock sensation, The South (featuring members of The Beautiful South) keeping the party going well into the night.
High-profile celebrity performances and ‘money can’t buy’ auction prizes are promised and the direct beneficiaries of this year’s fundraising will soon be announced.
Steve Joyce, SES’ Business Director North and Scotland, said:
“We’re delighted to be supporting the Firecracker Ball this year. It promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment and fundraising. Hopefully we can raise even more money than last year’s spectacular event!
“The funds Barnardo’s receive go a long way to changing the lives of thousands of children and young people across Yorkshire. All of us at SES Engineering Services are proud to support such a worthwhile cause.”
Barnardo’s Relationship Manager, Kirsty Guy, said:
“We are really grateful to the companies and individuals who help us deliver this fantastic event to the highest standards, in the most cost-effective way, giving our participants the greatest support.
“Funds are helping to make sure Barnardo’s in Yorkshire can continue to offer services that are in strong demand by the local community, including support for young people leaving care, young carers, family support, including a holiday club for children with complex health needs including physical disabilities, life limiting conditions and learning disabilities.”
The Firecracker Ball has become the most significant event in the Yorkshire social calendar helping to change the lives of thousands of children and young people across Yorkshire. Since 2002, the ball has raised over £2.8m for Barnardo’s causes.
The Firecracker Ball committee is actively seeking support from individuals and businesses in the region who are interested in sponsorship packages, table bookings or donating auction or other prizes for the charity. To find out more and to get involved, visit www.thefirecrackerball.co.uk.
