Mark King returns to SES as Operations Director, joining from NG Bailey, having previously worked for SES in 2009, and will work alongside newly promoted Operations Director, Matthew Towner, following his exemplary work on the business’ stand-out projects in the region.
Mark, with 34 years industry experience, brings with him extensive knowledge of the high-tech sector and a specialism in delivering seamless solutions for complex projects; while Matthew, previous Operations Manager at SES, has 18 years’ experience and a strong background in major projects in the commercial, residential, science and research, and healthcare sectors.
Both Mark and Matthew will be spearheading the company’s work on diverse mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects and drive the business’ continued growth across the London and South East region.
Mark King, Operations Director, SES said:
“I’ve returned to SES because under the leadership of Jason Knights it has a clear vision which I believe I can passionately help to bring to fruition.
“London needs more quality solutions for complex projects, which is where SES’ track record is vital and where the company really outshines its competitors. I look forward to bringing my knowledge to the team and working with David Jenkins, Matthew Towner, and Paul Dew on growing the scope and diversity of projects within the region.”
Paul Dew has been appointed as Regional Commercial Manager. Previously working at NG Bailey and having spent 30 years within the M&E sector, he will serve to support and strengthen the commercial functions within the business, ensuring the company meets, and exceeds, the expectations of clients.
The appointments within the senior team have been implemented under the leadership of London and South East Business Director, David Jenkins, and will ensure the team is in the best shape to meet its future objectives and deliver its growth strategy.
Jason Knights, Managing Director, SES said:
“David Jenkins and I look forward to working with Matthew, Mark and Paul in their new roles. I now firmly believe that we have the right senior leadership structure in place to take SES forward and further expand the company’s presence in the region.”
David Jenkins, Business Director London and South East, SES said:
“Matthew, Mark, and Paul are all a great fit for the SES team, being industry experts who are all driven and passionate. With their support, there’s no doubt the region will continue to thrive and grow, continuing to attract a high level of technically complex and diverse projects.”
These appointments come amid an outstanding period of growth for SES in the London and South East region. SES has completed its sixth innovative project on the King’s Cross redevelopment, the largest piece of Central London to be developed under a single ownership in the past 150 years. It has also been appointed by Canary Wharf Contractors Limited for dual residential schemes at the New District of Canary Wharf.
